BioShock 2 DLC Coming to PC

Protector Trials, Minerva's Den coming after all.

2K has announced the BioShock 2 downloadable content Minerva's Den and Protector Trials, and the game patch are coming to PC. The publisher previously said the content would not be coming to PC, but that has now changed.

"When we announced that Protector Trials and Minerva's Den would not be coming out for the PC due to technical and timing issues, we received a lot of feedback (much of it understandably expressing disappointment and anger) about our decision," 2K Community Manager Elizabeth Tobey said.

Minerva's Den adds a new single-player campaign, while the Protector Trials adds new challenge modes. 2K said they're currently bug testing the content and it should be submitted for certification soon. That process can take up to four weeks. It is unclear when this content will be released.

"Often, development is not a smooth and straight forward path. We never want to disappoint our gamers and we will always listen to what you have to say and try to do what's right for you and the game. I want to thank all of you not only for your feedback, but also for your patience and understanding," Tobey added.
