Remember that brief trailer Capcom released last year for Asura's Wrath -- the one where a really ticked off dude is about to be snubbed by a planetoid-sized finger from the heavens? Well, Asura is back, he's more pissed-off than ever, and we get to see what happens with that galactic boss battle.
Capcom chatted-up Asura's Wrath at its annual Captivate showcase, describing the upcoming title as a "fresh take on the action gaming genre." The publisher also provided details on who Asura is and why he could use an anger management class or two:
Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. Cue relentless action as Asura finds himself facing off against numerous unique enemies, including planetary sized bosses, unleashing devastating and visceral attacks.
With the setup out of the way, check the new trailer:
Asura's Wrath is being developed by CyberConnect2 (Naruto series) for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game has not yet been given a release date.
