Mark your calendars, folks, because tickets for BlizzCon 2011 will go on sale next month in two batches. This massive annual shindig put on by Blizzard Entertainment to celebrate all things Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo-related draws big crowds of fans eager to scope out a glut of discussion panels, hands-on demo sessions with hot new games, competitive tournaments, and community contests. The convention is now in its sixth year, and attendance is growing steadily. If you plan on going this year, you've got two opportunities to secure your spot.
The first round of BlizzCon tickets will go on sale on Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Round two of ticket sales launches on Wednesday, May 25 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time. Tickets cost $175 a piece and there's a limit of four per household. In addition to your BlizzCon badge, ticket purchases also land you a goody back with exclusive swag and a chance to participate in special online pre-event merchandise sales.
