New single-player expansion coming soon.
Electronic Arts said today it will release a new single-player expansion for Dead Space 2 called "Severed."
The pack includes two standalone chapters in the single-player campaign and sees the return of two characters from Dead Space Extraction, Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock. Players will take control of Gabe, who's stationed on the Sprawl as a security guard.
EA provided little detail about the story, only saying that Severed runs parallel to Isaac Clarke's story in Dead Space 2.
No price or release date has been set. EA says Severed is "coming soon" to Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
