Collector's Edition listing reveals new characters...and also a possible release date?
Capcom isn't quite done revealing every character that'll be included in Marvel vs. Capcom 3's initial roster, but now we already know two characters that'll be available post-release as downloadable content: Resident Evil's Jill Valentine and Marvel's Shuma-Gorath.
Both characters were revealed in GameStop's listing of the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Collector's Edition, which includes a voucher to get Jill and Shuma-Gorath for free. The collection also includes a steelbook case featuring "exclusive artwork," a 12-page prologue comic written by Marvel scribe Frank Tieri, and a 1-month subscription to the Marvel Digital Comics service. All of this will, surprisingly, only cost an extra 10 bucks, with the Collector's Edition priced at $69.99.
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 still doesn't have an official release date, although GameStop's listing has it set for February 15. Whether this is just a placeholder date (which retailers often use) or whether GameStop knows something the rest of us don't, though, is hard to say right now.
